🖤 DJ RITU : An innovator and pioneer of truly diverse, inclusive clubbing and radio – 2 decades at the BBC, global touring, record labels, and Rough Guides journalism - Ritu has decolonised dancefloors for over 38 years, weaving ‘world’ tunes into her Pop music residencies at the original London Lesbian & Gay Centre, Pride events, and iconic queer world music club, Asia. DJ Ritu is the co-founder of the UK’s first-ever SWANA music club, Hoppa, and legendary Club Kali, the longest-runningBollywood2Hollywood music club in the entire world.
🖤 DJ SHIELDS: Local institutions, and all round icon, Shields plays femme-fronted tracks, 80s/90s/00s notalgia, queered-up hip hop, electro, ballroom beats, new wave weirdness and just the right amount of POP! 🖤 B4B (AKA BANGERS FOR BREAKFAST)'s sets are bought together for a deep love for anything that bangs, blending an eclectic mix of UK garage, UK bass, dancehall, jungle, and bootlegs of tunes by all of your favourite huns. They are co-founder of local DJ collective BBG - purveyors of excellent music by women and gender minorities! You might have caught B4B bringing these vibes to the likes of @dykes_on_decks, @fortune.sessions, @the_rose_hill and @commongroundbtn in 2023. Bring your most serious bass face for this one, you're going to need it!

The conference is attendend by a large number of people who are travelling to Brighton from places far and beyond, and are very likely to get their ticket in advance. If you're thinking of coming, make sure you don't leave it to the last day, as tickets on the door might not be available.
★ACCESSIBILITY★
North Laine Brewhouse is wheelchair accessible and has one accessible toilet.
We will work to insure there is anough space to move aroudn the venue comfortably and that there is a priority serving area.
There will be a quieter area in the venue, with soft seating.
Please do not attend the event if you are feeling poorly, and test before you come.
